Consultation services
As well as our advice and guidance Wessex Community Action can provide additional support around the following areas:
Independent Evaluations
Conducting an independent evaluation of your project or service. This may include working with you to develop a theory of change, design surveys, carry out interviews with stakeholders and compile a final report. We have particular experience of carrying out evaluations for the National lottery Reaching Communities Fund. Contact us to discuss further and to receive a quote.
Business planning
We can provide facilitation for away-day activity. You may be looking to develop a theory of change, a new business plan, or any other aspect of strategy with your volunteers, staff, board members and other stakeholders. Wessex Community Action have both experience of facilitation and knowledge of the voluntary and community sector.
Volunteer Management Support
We can help you build a confident, well‑supported and sustainable volunteer team. Our volunteer management support covers the full volunteer journey from attracting the right people, to creating a positive experience that keeps them engaged. We offer tailored training for volunteer managers, guidance on developing clear processes and policies, and support with designing roles, onboarding, supervision and recognition.
We can also review your current volunteer recruitment and retention practices, identifying what’s working well and where improvements could make a real difference.
